The inequality diagnostics are tools that profile multidimensional inequalities in a given country over time and at various geographical levels, enabling a better understanding of the underlying dynamics. This also allows stakeholders to easily identify priorities for action and to develop policies better suited to tackle these inequalities.
A first series of inequality diagnostics have been produced for Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mali, and South Africa. This side event will explore opportunities for a new generation of diagnostics that consider two of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change and the transformation of labour markets.
