The Kenya node at the University of Nairobi hosted the first school of the Africa-Europe Cluster of Research Excellence in Inequalities, Poverty, and Deprivation (CoRE IPD) in 2024. The school entailed interactive lectures by researchers from ACEIR’s nodes at the University of Cape Town, University of Ghana, and University of Nairobi, and by European partners in the CoRE IPD. This annual multidisciplinary summer school targets research master’s degree students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and early career researchers.
