Dr Reuben Mutegi

Reuben Mutegi is a Lecturer of Educational Planning and Economics of Education at the School of Education, University of Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Planning and a Master’s degree in Educational Planning and Economics of Education from the University of Nairobi. His research areas relate to education and health policies, impact evaluation, M&E, labour dynamics, inequality, intergenerational accounting and demographic dividends. He is a team member of the National Transfer Account (NTA) and Counting Women Work (CWW) global research projects. Reuben previously worked at the United States International University-Africa. He received an ARUA-Carnegie Early Career Research Fellowship in 2022.
