Jacqueline Mosomi is a passionate labour economist who specialises in labour market dynamics and gender inequality research. She holds a PhD from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a master’s degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Her area of specialisation is using household survey and administrative data to understand developments in gender equality, including gender gaps in the labour market and the care economy. Jackie enjoys using her quantitative data analysis skills to generate policy relevant research and engaging with advocacy organisations to enhance equity and diversity. Other areas of interest include the impact of a low-carbon transition, green jobs and economic growth in developing economies.
